Strawberries starting mid June

It’s officially strawberry season here at BerryLand!

The strawberry season is upon us, and we want to be transparent with you on the conditions of our fields before you come out to the patch. So, here’s what’s going on this season:

The last two years of the extreme winter and spring weather have made it really challenging on our third-year strawberry crop. As a result, we won’t have nearly as many berries this season as we had hoped. This will affect the PYO picking times and length of the season. Strawberries love rain, just not all at once.

  • Provided we have red ripe fruit we will be Open daily starting at 7 a.m. until picked out. (End time varies each day)
  • PYO $2.69/lb
  • First come, first served.

  • Always check social media or call before coming out to verify we still have availability to pick before heading out! This is a tough season for us and things change rapidly.

Pre-picked berries: Due to the challenging conditions this season, we are very limited in what we can offer and unfortunately cannot accept any additional pre-picked orders at this time. We have a waitlist started and will do our best to fill as many existing orders as possible. We’ll contact everyone on the list as soon as we have a clearer picture of our supply. Because supplies are quite limited, we may not be able to fulfill every request. Things are rapidly changing, if we are able to take more pre-picked we will update you as soon as possible!

Despite these challenges, we are truly grateful to have a harvest at all this year. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support — our customers are the heart of BerryLand!
